This SOFT-STRIP thermal stripper contains a heating element which softens and strips 900µm tight buffer coating to 125µm fiber cladding.
(It doesn't work on 250µm or 400µm coating. Additional fiber guide, fiber guide lock and blade set need to be ordered separately)
This stripper permits precise stripping with less than 1lb of peak pulling force for a single fiber which makes it perfect for use on fiber optic couplers and other delicate components.
This tool is AA battery-operated for field work, hard to reach areas or for quick fixes.It comes with a blade cleaning brush and a component removal and insertion tool.
